If eyes are the windows to the soul, windows open the soul of a home to the viewer. The traditionally white glazed sunroom was in need of full replacement due to multiple failures in the 1100 existing panes—improvements which provided an opportunity for the homeowners to reimagine their favorite space. Known for their landscaping and horticultural passion, the homeowners wanted to enhance this conservatory for the benefit of their plants and guests alike. These custom high-performance thermally-broken Italian steel frame windows were designed to enable maximum visibility through all four seasons. Through use of the darker steel frames and expansive glazed openings, the windows no longer create a barrier to the soul. They fade into the background, allowing nature to be the focal point in the room both inside and out.
